Windows Phone Metro Interface on Android

Some say it boring, some say exciting. Some say it path breaking, some say freezing. But you cannot deny that the Metro Interface on Windows Phones looks different. Different from other operating systems' icon based interfaces. Especially the live tiles make the home screen a looker, it gives a pleasant feel which no live wallpaper can provide.

Now if you have an Android phone but like the feel of Metro UI, there are solutions in the android market. There are several apps which can give you the desired metro feel. But I liked the Launcher7. It is small, intuitive, beautiful and functioning. Just search for Launcher7 in android market, and download. The size is small (1.68mb) but the possibilities are endless.

We all had an affinity towards some kind of popularity. We all want to get noticed. We all want to be the charm of a gathering, the One! But most of us failed to do so. Why?

There's a simple reason, we all want to be someone else rather than whom we are. Often we see a person surrounded by his followers and we tend to place ourselves at the position of that particular person, and dream to be like him. This is seen very clearly when someone follows the style of some movie star or a famous person of that kind. A useful trick for Airtel customers.

Recently I found a very funny yet useful trick for Airtel customers.
We all know about MNP, Mobile Number Portability. The trick is related to that. First you have to send a sms to 1900 in the following format:
PORT Your mobile number
and send it to 1900. A reply will come from 1901 with a unique number which will be needed for the portability. It has a certain time limit for use. Now comes the best part. Within two or three days a person from Airtel will call you AMD will offer you some special pack for free depending on your reason for portability. Like, if you want a better data plan or voice tariff reduction, they probably offer you some thing better. I have my friends who got this facility and enjoying.
